This is an exceptional gem clear Garnet atop a Biotite Mica stack. The faces of this crystal are sharp and have mirror luster. Even thought it's small it's a textbook Garnet for crystallography and much better in person.

This is a nice purple gem elbaite crystal I picket up in Tucson in 09'. It was from a new find and was the best one available by the time I acquired it. Perhaps one of the rarest colors of Tourmaline to aquire. This is an excellent example of such a piece with a fair amount of Gem material at the bottom of the crystal, I think you could get at least a 5-7 ct clean stone. The termination is of a yellowish green and is free of damage.

An amazing sharp crystal with great magenta color and superb luster followed by a little yellow on the termination. Nice blocky structure gives it a nice impact with good luster..
